BidetVerdict The verdict desk for bidet seats & attachments

The Instrument Desk · Three Working Tools

Don't take the desk's word for it. Run the instruments.

Every number on BidetVerdict can be re-derived by hand — so we built the benches where you do it. Rebuild any flagship score from its six criteria. Answer four questions and watch the fit logic work. Price an installation line by line, from the same ledger the guides print.

Nothing here collects data. The tools run entirely in your browser — and every one of them prints its full working below, for readers whose browser runs no scripts at all.

8.5/10

The right-hand column is each criterion's contribution to the total — criterion score × published weight, from the methodology. If your arithmetic disagrees with ours, the scorecard is wrong and the corrections policy applies.

The full record, printed — the no-script fallback

The explorer above is an instrument, not a gate. The complete flagship record stands in print whether or not it runs:

Instrument 02 · Four Questions

The fit checker

Bowl, outlet, budget, tenure — the four facts that decide this category. The pick comes with its reasoning printed, not just its name.

Question 1Your bowl shape
Question 2A GFCI outlet within ~4 ft of the toilet?
Question 3Budget band for the device itself
Question 4Renting, or your own home?

The logic is the desk's published buying sequence — form, outlet, fit — applied in that order. It recommends from the scored record only; where your answers land outside the flagship six, it says so and points at the class file instead of inventing a pick.

The same checker, in print — the no-script fallback

Every branch of the checker, argued in a table. If the instrument above cannot run, nothing is lost:

Instrument 03 · The Ledger, Live

Installation cost calculator

Driven by the same ranges the installation ledger prints — device class, the outlet question, and who does the water work.

Line 1Device class
Line 2The outlet (electric seats only)
Line 3Who does the water work?

Unchecked: you do it — hand tools, 20–60 minutes depending on class, $0. The cases where the desk says hire the plumber regardless are listed in the ledger.

What the instruments refuse to do

None of them invents a number. The explorer recomputes published scores; the checker recommends only from the scored record and shows its logic; the calculator adds printed ledger ranges and calls the result a planning range, not a quote. A tool that hides its working is a funnel — the desk builds instruments.
